Khartoum, Sudan, November 28,2007 - The National Authority (NHA) today signed two contracts of total value of US$26.86 million for the Construction and construction Supervision of Gadamai - Hamashkoraib Road (82.5 Km) with China Chongquing International Construction (CICO) and the Joint Venture of Consulting Firms of Newtech Industrial and Engineering Group (Sudan) and Consolidated Consultants (Jordan). The construction contract is in the amount of US$25.8 million, and the estimated construction period is 30 months and the road is to be constructed to an all-weather standards (Double Bituminous Surface Treatment).
